Question:

What's wrong with my vacuum?

This may be a silly question but I can't figure it out for the life of me! The vacuum bag has been in there for over a month and the bag has NOTHING in it! I noticed it isn't picking up as much either and spits dirt back out. Why? Clearly I am no expert at this! Haha

Answer:

Okay, here is everything you need to know! If you've commuted in LA, you'll love it here. It's really not so bad. But, here is the worst of the best type of analysis. Highway 26 (West Side) is always bad from about 6-9am and 4-7pm Hwy 217(West Side) is similar I-84 (East Side) is sometimes bad similar to 26, but only from City Center to 205 Interchange I-205 (East Side) is almost always packed with cars, and it gets slow in the morning and evenings. I-5 (Central, Kinda) is the worst here, but 26 is a close second. Downtown, traffic isnt usually That bad. One way streets everywhere, but if you live in the city you'll get used to them. Many roads downtown are reserved for Bus/MAX (train) traffic. Apart from the highways, most streets in portland are just fine. Powell blvd on the east side is where a lot of accidents happen. Division, Stark, Glisan and Halsey on the eastside are good. Oh, also, the highways and roads here are CRAP because Oregon allows studded tires most of the year, WRECKING the pavement. Tri-Met works well, even though everybody hates it. Freeways, from worst to best: I-5 (worst) HWY 26 / 217 (2nd worst) I-205 (3rd worst) I-84 (4th worst) Oh yeah, highway 47 through West Linn is awful too.
Learn to enjoy a day of fishing at the lake even if you aren't catching anything. The therapeutic value of a day at the lake far outweighs the satisfaction of catching a boat load of fish.
