How should I get my dog to stay in his bed on the floor next to mine and to stomp jumping on my bed.
When you want your dog to go to bed simply say 'GO TO BED' and if you want him to stay say 'STAY IN BED' and if he gets up make him sit of lay down in his bed, don't let him in your bed or on any of your furniture..and he'll go in his bed in no time
Put the bed the dog in a crate or tether the dog to the foot of your bed, w/o too short a line/leash to allow it it jump, ON the bed.
I easily have been a k9 handler / guidance instructor for 20+ years in the U. S. military and for the final 3 years in view that I retired. I easily have had Rottweilers, Akitas, Czheck Shepherds, significant Schnauzer, a 195 lb male significant Malamute and one hundred sixty five lb lady Mal, a 285 lb St. Bernard, and distinctive different breeds. i do no longer profess to appreciate each little thing, and all guidance strategies do no longer artwork for each dogs. If I knew whilst he does this, which part of the mattress does he visit, will he get down in the journey that your spouse tells him to - or on condition which you tell him to, are you nevertheless domicile whilst he does this. without understanding all of the information i will in undemanding terms grant you with some hints. If no person is in the mattress whilst this occurs you may place mouse traps on the mattress. you may place laundry baskets on the mattress. The trick is to make it so being on the mattress isn't a sturdy journey, some thing he would not like. Or if there is a few thing he will circumvent ( returned, some thing he would not like or is afraid of ), place it on, close to, or around the mattress. Get him his own mattress and make that his convenience place. desire this might help. i might prefer to take heed to if/what works.
