How to install the lightning rod on the home computer?

The probability that the indoor computer is struck by lightning is also related to whether the external lines are overhead lines, shielded or grounded. So, if you do not take the internal lightning protection measures, rainy days, it is best to all the power supply equipment and signal lines are removed, including television, air conditioning and so on.
According to the standard of IEC, lightning protection is mainly divided into two aspects: external lightning protection and internal lightning protection. External lightning protection refers to the lightning protection of buildings, and the main measures are to install lightning arresters (lightning rods, belts, nets, wires, metal components, etc.) to prevent damage to buildings caused by lightning hitting buildings. However, if lightning strikes the power line or telephone line in the distance, the lightning flow will follow the line into the room, when the external lightning protection device has no effect, so the internal lightning protection device is needed.
If your computer doesn't have a lightning arrester (SPD) on the power line and on the phone line, unplug the power cord and the phone when it thunders. Note: Unplug, not shutdown! When lightning strikes, the voltage is usually hundreds of thousands of volts, and can be directly broken through the power switch of the computer! It's no use shutting down the roof. It's useless to install a lightning rod on the roof.
