First, you say I'd like to introduce ??. Then you give a very brief reason as to why they are speaking to that group. For example a weather person might be speaking to a classroom about tornado safety.
You start with Salutations and maybe a little ice breaker (a joke maybe) then introduced your speaker. Find out a little about them. Give a brief intro on the speaker. Maybe something relevant to the event that people might not know about (this pertains to the speaker) and then ladies and gentlemen without further a due, I present. GOOD LUCK!
learn their name first then say hello everybody this is the guest speaker but say the persons name.
