In any case you should have a warning light come on in the dash. This indicates that there has been a loss of fluid pressure in the system. First check the fluid. If low add fluid to the proper level, note, check your owners manual for the correct type of fluid otherwise you may encounter more problems. Slowly pump the pedal to allow the fluid to be distributed to the lines. You should feel pressure building. Wait a few seconds and push the pedal. If you feel increased pedal height you may be ok. If the pedal is low and mushy you have air in the lines and the brakes will need to be bleed. Next try this, pump the pedal several times and hold the pedal tight. Ease off of the pedal ever so slightly and hold it. If you feel the pedal starting to soften and ease down to the floor you have a bad master cylinder. Have it replaced be a compenent technician otherwise you could be in even more trouble
NEVER ADD BRAKE FLUID!! The brake master cylinder is designed to hold just the right amount of brake fluid for your brake system. There are two things to note. 1) As the brake pads wear out, the calipers piston has to move farther out to press on the brake pads. As the piston moves farther out, the area behind the piston becomes filled with more fluid from the master cylinder, and the level of fluid in the master cylinder goes down. When the fluid level in the master cylinder gets too low, a light should come on indicating that your brake fluid is low. That does NOT mean you need to add brake fluid. It means your brake pads are VERY close to being worn out. 2) If you add brake fluid today, and have your brakes done tomorrow, when the mechanic compresses the caliper piston ALL the excess brake fluid is going to spill out of the master cylinder all over the engine compartment and make a huge mess. Not to mention ruining your car. Just a note: Brake fluid does not evaporate. So, unless you have a leak, NEVER add brake fluid. Have your brakes serviced.
massive torque. if you watch Pinks, Pinks All Out or Pass Time you find very quickly that many heavy torque rear wheel drive cars can do that. it won't happen in a ricer ever for those two reasons. 1. it must be Rear wheel drive (as the chevelle was) 2. it must have loads of torque (as the chevelle V-8 with a blower would) which while fast, and sometimes as fast as real muscle, a turbo 4 never has massive low end torque.
A HUGE engine with HUGE amount of torque, and VERY VERY sticky tires, and NO engine lag. Which basically means turbo ain't gonna work. It'd have to be a big hulking engine, period.
