I spilled liquid laundry soap on the floor yesterday. I cleaned it with a wet vac and I thought it went away. Today when I woke up it stained the carpet. I've been rinsing it all day with just water and sucking it up with the wet vac. How can I get this stain to go away. Please help very desperate.
Laundry Detergent shouldn't stain a carpet as it is a type of soap that can be used to remove stains from carpets, haha. If rinsing with water again and again isn't working, you might want to try a stain remover. Are you sure you have removed all the detergent from the carpet and the stain you are seeing isn't just the dried detergent left in the carpet?
