Remove the knuckle and axle. press the axle flange off then bearing with a bench press.

Depends on the make. You have to remove the steering knuckle then depending on the make remove the screws that hold the hub assembly and change it. Though some you have the have the hub pressed out, then the bearing pressed out, then pressed back in one then the other,
There are inner and outer bearing. You pull the rotor... sometimes you must break loose the spindle (comes out of the CV joint) and all recommend a puller. Same as doing the front for most cars, just all the way around.
Most AWD vehicles use a sealed front hub. Meaning the bearings are not replaceable and the hub assembly requires replacement. Depending on the vehicle... a sealed unit can be replaced with basic hand tools in a driveway. Simply unbolt the wheels, brake callipers, remove the rotors, remove the front (CV shaft / axle) retaining nut, unbolt the hub. Reverse the order to install. If you are referring to a full size pickup style... I would recommend you have a mechanical back ground. The reason is because you will be replacing the bearings. You must know how to pack bearings with grease (unless it is a oil bearing, which means you are doing hub seals also). You must know how to install and torque the bearings, or you will have premature bearing failure... worst case scenario, the wheels fall off while driving on the road. Good luck with repairs
