I will just use a simple example so that it is easy to understand.Let's say I own a company that offers a crane serviceI will show up on the job site, charge $500, and use my crane to do whatever the customer.Now one day I get a call for a job like this, but I decide to quot;subcontractquot; it to a friend of mine who also has a crane serviceHe will go there, perform the job, and charge me $400At the end of the month I will still receive the $500 from the customerI only made $100, but I was able to not lift a finger therefore letting me do other work at the same time.My question is, how do I prevent the customer in the future from dealing directly with my friend, therefore cutting me out of the deal?What about in businesses where my service would be required daily?
