Question:

How to take off smoothly in a stick shift car?

I‘ve been learning how to drive a stick shift and everytime I take off in first gear I always make the car jerk fast then it goes slow. What am i doing wrong to make the car have such a shaky start?

Answer:

Without power, the alarm cannot go off. Some high end alarms have a built in battery to monitor even with power cut off, but it still won't do much. However, you can't drive the car without a battery, so if you need to go somewhere you have to put it back in anyway.
Try lifting your whole foot off the floor when you let the clutch out, helped me be smoother when I was learning.
You're letting the clutch out too fast. As you let out the clutch, keep giving it more gas until you feel the clutch grab the gear. Don't let go of the clutch as soon as it catches, slowly back it off. It's kind of like letting out with one while pushing in the other at the same rate.
as you lift your foot on the clutch pedal you can feel the car trying to move, when you feel this increase the engine speed and take your foot off the clutch, When you describe the clutch grabbing I knew what you were doing wrong. use of the foot controls should be nice and sssmmmoootthhh
It should be as simple as taking the battery out and changing it. Follow the edge of the remote and you should see where to put a small flat head screw driver to twist the two pieces apart. Or it may have a tiny screw in the back. Just take it apart and install a new batter. If not sure what battery it is take it with you, must auto part stores sell them.
