As quickly as the burn occurs, cool it down with some cold water. Keep the burn in cold water until the sensation of heat has subsided. After it has cooled, begin to dry the area with a towel. It is important to dry the burn as you don't want an infection or something down the line. Keep the burn from touching fabric of any sort. This will only agitate the burn, making the situation worse and the area sore. Use an anti-biotic lotion of some kind to treat the burn. This will disinfect the area and prep it for being covered. If it is large enough, wrap gaze around the burn to help cover it. Otherwise, you can use a bandage. You can also use Aloe Vera.
