yes i will work and the time change you are looking for would 25 min - 30 min to teat to see if the cake is don e tap the center of the cake lightly with finger tip or when it starts to pull away from the side of the pan
i'm pretty sure your cake idea would work:) but i think the temperture would work at putting at 300 put you make have to put it in less time beacuse the pan will be smaller and it won't be as filled up beacuse your using some of the batter for the cup cakes as well.
First, that is a weird recipeMost cakes are baked at 350f for far less time (35-40 min give or take)Is there a reason you want to use this particular recipe? As a general rule, you can make any cake batter into a sheet cake (the 9x13 pan), 2 cake rounds, 2 cake squares (8x8 or 9x9), bundt cake, or cupcake panThe only thing you would adjust is the timingThe smaller the cakes, the less time it bakesA cake that would take 35-40 minutes as sheet cake, would take about 15-18 minutes as cupcakesFor rounds, 20-25 min, generally If you're set on using that recipe, do two rounds (easier than one plus cupcakes), and check at about the 30 minute mark with a toothpick.
