You'd have to have a TV tuner type card installedbasically you need something that will have input to take the signal from your PS3 and display it on your pc
You should probably include which type of video input your laptop has, if it has any at all (most laptops don't).
Look if it has an hdmi input, if yes connect a hdmi cable from your ps3 to your laptop. when you have connected your ps3 to the laptop turn on the laptop and your ps3 and the laptop will recognize the ps3 and now you could play in your laptop. i did this with my ps3 and laptop, and with my lcd monitor too and it works.
