Question:
How to use propane torches?
My dad has a propane torch but neither of us know how to use it. Can someone explain how to use it. Is that type of torch good for welding a 1/2 inch copper pipe and sheet metal? If you can, please put a link of a video tutorial. thanks!
Answer:
you can look on OKorder for a batch of seeds or you can buy the pots of live herbs in supermarkets (still in a pot) look for ones with more than one shoot coming from the soil, split them up and re-pot them, nurture them and they will thrive. (i've done the latter myself on many occasions) basil and chives work very well with this
These are used mostly by plumbers. If torch tamer is used then it can be used with ease. With the Torch Tamer, you’ll have no more worrying about problems with using all your trade tools and holding the torch at the same time. This is perfect for anyone in plumbing, heating and cooling, auto mechanics, maintenance, and factory work.
You can use torch tamer. The Torch Tamer holds the propane tank of your torch upright which is a major safety feature in any workshop. While being help upright the tank is also secured so that it will not tip over and become damaged. When you get the Torch Tamer you will never have to worry about soldering or brazing aluminium or other metals while juggling you propane torch and other tools. You also never have to worry about your propane tank rolling around or getting lost.
A propane torch is often used by plumbers to solder copper or brass pipes and fittings together. But first you have to carefully prepare the surfaces that fit together by sanding or wire brushing off the surface oxidation to reach the shiny metal. Then you apply rosin which you buy with the 50/50 solder. Refer to a website that shows copper/ brass plumbing pipe preparation and soldering. It takes a little practice, so solder up some old pipes first before you attempt the real job. The hot solder can be flung up into your eyes and face, so at least wear good safety glasses.
