how would you describe an old chair a sort of velvet well worn one in 20 words
The chair stood in the corner, the once rich purple velvet worn thin and in some places down to nothing. OR A chair, once splendid, it's rich velvet cushions worn down to a scrappy rag, sits covered in dust long forgotten. OR The chair sat, moth eaten and decaying in the D. A.'s basement, mice making their home in the worn green velvet. OR The chair was no longer of any use, the velvet cushion shredded and the legs deeply scarred from years of service.
