Question:

none of my lights work?

I accidentally connected the negative and positive terminals of my battery with a wrench, I have checked all the fuses and none look to be blown. What else should I be looking for?

Answer:

Your looking for a melted fuseable link-- noy a fuse. It will look like a burned wire
need more info, always include make and model and year, and we can tel lyou where the fusable link is. but usually its a thick place close to the battery terminals on the positive side. its like a larger size of the main wires that feed solenoids etc. good luck
Make / model and year would certainly help us help you. That must have been a big wrench to reach that far across those terminals.Hope those burns from the wrench and battery explosion are doing well. If you shorted a battery with a wrench? ( unlikely) or if you crossed booster cables, then you would have a big spark. Some burn your favourite tools . Some burn your cars computer, and a few other parts
Do you have electrical power at all, on any thing? You don't say what else it affected. Could be a fuse link burned that controls all the power to the car. If just your lights, some light switches have built in breakers, which shut off the lights when a wire in the light circuit, like a door light, shorts out. This protects the rest of the system. There might be a reset on the switch. But it would be car specific, meaning how to reset it would be in a manual, or someplace, and might require taking the switch out of the dash. If that is not the case, look for a 30 amp fuse which is usually what lights use, that might be blown.
