I am so desperate I might do it but I want to feel better about myself.?

I am really desperate I am overweight and i really wanna lose around 30-40 pounds so i might just starve myselfI will drink a lot of water and eat a lot of fruits and vegetables and i will be on the exercise bike like for an hour do 20 push ups 50 sit ups and ill be benching and work out how much weight will i lose if i keep this up for about a month?


I agree with the first answerIf you are looking to lose the weight and keep it off, I'd suggest you choose a workout routine and a diet that you can stick to for the rest of your life I don't know what your goal is, but if you want to slim down and lose weight, you should be heavy on the aerobic excercises (jogging, elliptical, dancing)If you want to lose the weight more slowly and bulk up on muscles, anerobic exercises are the trick (weight lifting, boxing, reps with lots of weights)You should be able to find a healthy balance between the two to get what you wantPlus, if you're not already a vegetarian, you can easily make yourself sick on a crash diet of fruits, vegetables, and waterThe idea is not to shock your systemJust reduce your total calories (smaller portions), upgrade on the quality and type of foods you eat (high on protein, low on animal fat, high on soluble fibers, etc.), and cut any unnecessary snacks from your diet (chips, candy, cake, cookies, etc.) Also, if you do shock your system, your metabolism can slow down, because it no longer expects a steady source of energyIt will expect moments of 'hunger' and will end up storing more of the food that you eat (hence the weight gain when a lot of people go off their diets).
