Question:

I designed an aluminum wire mesh faraday cage sleeping bag but I can't figure out how frequencies keep coming up in the cageWhat's wrong?

Could this problem be because the mesh doesn't stay flat but bends? Is it neccessary for a faraday cage surface to be flat and if its not will th his allows frequencies into the cage?Or is the problem something else? I have triple folded the seams and the enterane seems secure.Perhapes I have to have the mesh wraped around a wood box fframe for it to work. Please no stupid comments to this questionI'm actually seeking the answer to my question not your opinions on the subjectLeave the big questions for the smart peopleThank you for your cooperation.

Answer:

Toenail clippings,5 old tea bags, a copy of the Sun, a Lily Allen CD, picture of Paris Hilton and the latest copy of your bank statement (complete with tear stains),
Switch operated Blinds built in to the windowsOutdoor grill made from large natural stonesWater fall featured swimming pool or JacuzziAn indoor pool with a portion outside accessible only by swimming under a wallLarge outdoor screened 3 season roomTons of storage pull-out units within the wallsHeated floorsCentral vacuum Sky lightsSolar panels/ back-up generatorsSubterranean living areaSubterranean shelterMake certain any exterior landscaping is designed to make it easy to maintainIf possible build on a plot that has it's own water supply.
Those all sound great! What about incorporating some of the latest electronics in the kitchen? Some of the new refrigerators that have smart ideas like shelves that are at eye level and easy to pull out? I have a separate icemaker that I cannot live withoutGives me ice for as many parties such as football gatherings as I want! Think about a coffee/cappachino station - you will be the envy of your friends! When building, my brother in law used windows that had built in blinds in themThey can be controlled by remote and never get dirty because they are protected within the window! You can also look at windows that are art glass/stained glassInstant artwork for your windows! Smart houses also are starting to incorporate programming from your smart phone (IPhone type)You can turn on alarms, close drapes, turn on/off lights, appliances, etc all with the press of a button! That to me is the ultra of convenience not to mention decadence! Don't forget the backyard - a kitchen that incorporates an entertaining island (barbeque, refrigerator, keg-o-rator) becomes another room for entertaining!
The idea of a Faraday cage is electromagnetic radiation will induce currents in the conductors of the cage and those currents will quickly dissipate the power of the electromagnetic radiation or pulseThus there will be transient currents in the cage but they will dissipate quickly preventing the induction of voltages and currents in whatever is inside the cageThe finer the mesh, the more quickly the energy in the electromagnetic wave will be consumedDissipation is faster if the cage is constructed with larger diameter conductor (copper, aluminum for example)Detecting small amounts of radiation with sensitive equipment doesn't mean your cage isn't workingThe issue is LARGE currents and HIGH voltages induced by very energetic electromagnetic wavesSmall amounts of radiation aren't inducing anything to worry about.
