Question:

i have a 2004 nissan maxima with 160000 miles on it. when i drive on rough roads that have small bumps i hear?

i hear noise from the front suspension and is mostly from the drive side . when i bought the car the inner cv boots were torn so i had both axles changed as well as both outer tie rods and the left inner tie rod only. also i have changed the sway bars and the bushing for the front struts. the noise still there but i feel like the has been a little reduce in the noise but still i can hear it almost as loud!!! we even checked the hood, the air pressure in tires to see if they are the reasons for that noise but the answer was no!.on high speed i cant hear the noise, only when i drive in the city and if the roads have a lot of small bumps i can hear it but when i go on big bumps like speed bumps i dont hear the noise really! the mechanic shop tested drive my car and took my struts out and said they look worn out but still doing their job and there is no leak from the struts. and they said the arm controls look fine too. so i really want to know what produces the noise!!!???
