I want to buy a new exhaust system for my car, but i do not want to buy a ricer exhaust. I just want a better exhaust system so i can make my acceleration faster. So far i have looked online and all i have found hundreds of possibilities for a new exhaust system but i do not know what would give me the best performance for the most reasonable price.
If you want low end acceleration power, exhaust will not cure that itch. get a timing advance to go along with a cold air intake and a cat back exhaust. that setup will allow your car to jump off quicker (using the timing advance) then continue to accelerate through the powerband by letting the car take in more air. also, make sure to do an idle relearn after doing the mods so the ECU will know how much gas to spit out to balance the air/fuel ratio. most ricer exhausts are usually the ones that give power, and thats talking catbacks, not fart canns welded on its very hard to find a performance exhaust for a 4cyl, that sounds good on a commonly modified car, let alonet on a base sentra. take a look at borla good luck
