Question:

wha forks fit my bike??

i have a carrera vulcan [not road version mtb version] and i was told that most forks could fit beacause the tube can be adjusted is this true? im not looking for huge forks like 888s just something smaller about average size

Answer:

The cost is the only obsticleAny thing can be done if you have the bucks.
Cutting home foundations and installing elevators are not DIY projects.
Thats a sweet fork with a great priceIt will fit your bike but be carefull as to how much tube you remove from the steer tube as the next bike it goes on might need more tube.Just use a few spacers as long as the handlebar heigth is comfortable. You can always cut more off,but you cannot add more to itIt also doesn't weigh much, but that is because it has an aluminum steertube. In my day,an aluminum steer tube on a front shock was for cross country riding only. Not for downhill, freerides ,or 6 foot drop-offsAluminum has improved over the years but please make sure your headset and stem are tight every ride ,just to be on the safe side I hope this can be of help to you
