i have a dual xbox 360 battery charger and it goes straight to a green light even when the battery packs dead?

i have a rechargable battery pack but when i put it in the red light stays on for a second then goes to green and its not even charged

Answer:

as long as you carry down the handbook button till it comes up with an option to teach off your controller, then no it won't do any injuryyet constantly pulling the battery %. out might desire to finally injury it yet im undecided

That is a problem with the battery pack. Many people have experienced the same problem with the Play and Charge kits which also charge rechargeable batteries. The light goes from Red to Green instantly, but when unplugged the battery just dies. The battery basically cannot hold a charge anymore. Imagine you put in the battery to charge. It's ability to hold a charge as been worn out or damaged so much that it can only hold 3 seconds worth of life or charge. The charger will charge it as much as that battery can handle. It then realizes that the battery pack is full (relative to the battery's ability to charge) and display the green light to let you know that the battery can't hold any more charge and that it's filled. You will have to purchase a new rechargeable battery.
