My husband and I are moving to Kadena ab in septI know the military will move our stuff but i read something that no oversized furniture such as king size bed etc and we recently gotten rid of our queen and got king size bed and are very comfortable with itI'm hoping it's just wrong info.lol Please tell me i don't have to down grade back to a queen.lol Also, we were planing on getting most our furniture here before we leaveSo we want to make sure whatever we get here will fit, work out well over thereI'm sure they have nice things over there but we'd rather get our stuff here.Any advice?

if you end up off base , a K size bed will NOT fit in fact it may not fit in on base housing either at least one room in every Japanese home is tatami.and you cannot have anything overly large or heavy in these rooms, as they damage the mats.and they are expensive to replace the towers have smallish elevators and the free standing homes have narrow stairs leading to the bedrooms anything oversized( wall units, etc) will NOT fit anything bigger than a 46 in TV will have a hard time fitting.plus theres the whole current thing.
