It is the largest size they sell, and has the plastic knob you turn and the metal rods hold the door in place. It is annoying as heck when I have tons of dogs to rotate and I have to sit there and put it back together again. Any advice? Has this happened to anyone else before? How do I fix it?PS: I am starting to feel yalls pain about arbitrary TDs, seems sound advice just isnt valued around here!
Return it to the store and purchase a more user friendly crate.
Haven't okorder /about-petmate/com... QWhat if I have a defective product? AYou can email customer service through the Contact Us page on this web site or send your information to Petmate, P.O. Box 1246, Arlington, TX 76004-1246.
Perhaps you can contact the manufacturer to see if other customers are having the same issue. They may be able to tell you how to correct the problem I would say return it to the store but you didn't state how long you've had the crate. The Petco where I live takes back crates within a couple of days even if it has been used by your pet.
With the knob off, appear on the shaft. There will have to be a spring loaded button which goes right into a gap at the knob. When you set the knob on you have got to depress this button with a screwdriver or some thing at the same time pushing the knob on. Push the knob until you spot the button come via the gap within the shank of the knob. This locks it in situation. Removing the knob is the reverse. Depress the button at the same time pulling the knob off.
