How do I straighten thick poofy hair? Will it stay straight the whole day?
a 2 x 4 holds R11 insulationa 2x2 I don't knowpossibly R9 if they make ityou shouldn't stuff R11 in there as it becomes less efficient when compressed.
Lumber yards has insulation called Styrofoamwhite very light boards 1/14.5/8' Is used generally to insulate concrete foundationbut will work greatThis 1/2 of air between drywall and Styrofoam will help tooI used it in many basements we moisture wont allow Fiberglas.
another idea but of corse more mess.pull the sheet rock off the existing wall take out or leave in the old insulation put your 2by2s up then reinsulate .then plastic then your sheetrock.you would almost have a 5in out side wall to fully insulate unless the house is really old then you would have a51/2 in wall .same as new constuction this would also be easier to move outlets and trim doors and windows
It won't offer much insulation but it's better than nothingYou do know a 2 x 2 is really a 1-1/2 x 1-1/2, right?
It will take a while but this worksI have very curly kinky hair and I do this every 4 daysWash and use a good conditioner, Use a LARGE round metal brush (the metal gets hot and makes the hair straighter) Blow-dry the hair section by section until smoothWhen finished, use a flat iron spray such as rusk thermal str8 or soya want flat hair by the sexy collection (these are the best) and spray small sections of the hair and immediately go over it with the flat ironuse a good ceramic iron (I use rusk) but hot tools will doAll you need is patienceIt works! If you have any other questions You need a lot of patience for the first few times, but you will get the hang of it.
