Question:

I'm really scared, parents gone?

I've been waiting for them to come home for about 5 hours now and it's already 1:57 AM, almost 2:00 in the morning. I tried calling them, but neither of their phones were answering and I'm scared all alone in the house. lt;:( Help!?

Answer:

I used to have the same issues I recommend getting more than one alarm and setting them off a few seconds after each other. Or using an alarm on your mobile phone where you can play music and make the sounds gradually get louder. hope this helps !
try putting the alarm away from your bed so you have to get up to turn it off
yeah, hit the snooze button so it rings in another 5 minutes or right away turn on the light and open the curtains so its bright in your room and u dont fall asleep again.
Some smoke detectors determine smoke by measuring the amount of electrical current flowing between two metal plates exposed to the surrounding air. If this is the smoke detector being used it would be set off because the smoke from meth would lower the current. Some just identify fire based on temp. in which case you should be fine.
My 47 year old brother has the same problem. He keeps his alarm clock across the room, on his dresser, inside a small birdcage. Sounds silly, but by the time he gets up, walks across the room, opens the cage door and turns off the alarm, he is awake! Good luck!
