Question:

I need a good hair straightener, by this i mean aflat iron.?

Anyone have any opinions I had really curly hair and got it chemically straightened, but my hair is stilll wavy and not as straight as I would like it to be.

Answer:

I disagreeConsidering I've held the same government job for 12 years, has gotten 5 promotions since I started, I'm currently a supervisor, has earned 11 monetary awards (This years awards haven't been dispersed), I deal with irate, insulting, and mentally handicapped people everyday and maintainI couldn't have gotten ahead if I didn't listen and learn what's been told to meAnd worked as a union steward for 5 years discussing and calming everyone else's fears and issuesNot to mention that in the 10 story building I workThe majority of supervisors are women, The majority of workers are women, the majority of union stewards are women, The majority of technical workers are women, and even the majority of warehouse workers are women.
Nothing wrong with Conair products, we have 4 different products that range from 7 years to 7 months in our possession with no problems After you wash your hair, dry it using a thermal vent brush to smooth style the hair straightI suggest you use a 'ceramic' dryer as these not only 'speed up' the drying, it also keeps the hair healthier, promotes shinyness and makes the hair smoothI suggest you buy a 'heat protectant' spray (designed to protect the hair) which you can likely find in Wal-Mart or your drug or grocery store, and spray it on the section of hairUse a 'ceramic' flat iron (hopefully it has a setting control) set to your hair type and condition Now take your flat iron and smooth it through the hair slowly and continously starting from roots to ends, being gentle as you progressRepeat this until you get the result you desireThat's about itExcept, remember to keep your hair well conditioned!!
I find none of this true or falseI've worked with, for and have employed all types of peopleWhether the person is hard working or not is up to the individual.
at some jobs yes, but certainly not allthere are plenty of women that do the same job as a man, better than a man, because we are smarter and a lot of men don't want to see women on top because that will further prove that we are smarter and can do pretty much anything that you can do.
SillyEveryone is an individualI've worked with men and women for 30 years and there are countless men out there that are: 1Lazy and hide from work or pass it off to others 2Ex-Sports stars from college who don't have a clue how to even type let alone lead a project or group of people 3So emotionally detached that they have no commitment to the work or the people around them 4So ego-centric that if someone suggests they are wrong or could do something a different way, they get all offended and puffed up macho angry 5prone to reacting before they even know what the situation is and barking out responses that are not relevant to the situation at handI'm not saying all men are like this - but loads areI'll work with women any day.
