I'm looking for a lemon ice box recipe and or a key lime pie recipe. I don't mine making them from scratch if the recipe is easy to follow. So far all the recipes I have found though call for kool aid or drink mixes such as crystal light and I don't remember my Mamaw using this in her recipe and she would roll over in her grave if I used this recipe. I don't have her recipe and I don't mind trying different versions but I would like to try to stick to the classics if possible. Thank you for any and all the help.
My husband and I never found out the sex of or baby either and we painted the room lime green. I think it's a great neutral color! It goes great with pink and blue. Once my son arrived, we went out and bought really cute bedding with dinosaurs on it. It was easy to find things to match the green.Plus--my son is still sleeping in his bassinett in our room, but when we take him in his room, he looks around at the bright color and just smiles and laughs and LOVES it. So go for it!
Light green is a great color! I've love light green-as long as its not bright at all, but soft. It can definetly be a good color for a boy or a girl. But pink, clearly, is not. So don't make the room pink if you don't know the gender yet.
Lime green sounds adorable. You could make it more feminine or masculine later with either light pink or baby blue accents: blankets, teddy bear, dresser pulls, and decor. I think you are on the right track, and that way if you decide to have another child and they have the opposite gender, you have a set that will see you through years to come with only minimal accenting. Good choice and congratulations to you new parents-to-be!
Yellow and green both are gender neutral. My daughter's room is pink and green, if we have a boy, I'm going to change the pink to blue and leave the bottom green and then she will be moved into our bigger bedroom.
