I know FIE is out of business. I am looking for info on a muzzle loader my grandfather bought new and I now own. It is a .45 cal made in Italy. It has Black POWDER ONlY stamped on it, blued octagon barrel, brass cleaning plate on the right hand side of the stock, curved brass trigger guard. It weighs about 8 pounds. It appears 21282 is the serial # on the barrel. Is this most likely a reproduction of a historical weapon? Is there anywhere you can look up info on older weapons from out of business companies? Thanks a lot to anyone who can help me out with info.
