Question:

I need more iron in my diet?

Apparently i need more iron in my diet, what foods do you suggest i eat?I know there is Iron in fish.but i hate fish.maybe ill grab a cowl of cereal i am sure there is iron in cereal but prolly not nearly the recommended daily amount.what foods do you suggest? maybe something taste :)

Red meat. eat a steak thats medium rare to medium with a bit of the pink inside. Beans, have lots of Iron. Fortified breads, have Iron. You can also supplement your lack of iron with Iron Pills at the drug store in the vitamin isle. But as for food. Stick with Red Meats.
well the best source of iron is red meat, though you can also get iron from some vegetables like broccoli and bok choy. these vegetables also contain vitamin C which helps in the absorption of iron. which would mean that if you have a glass of orange juice (which is high in vitamin C) with your cereal in the morning it will help your body absorb more iron. and also you could take a iron supplament, but all of the above options should work fine though too :)
