Question:
i need some help with building an attic?
i am trying to build a floor in an attic and i am just trying to figure out what to expectthe floor of the attic now is covered in insulation and im not even sure if it can support anything, but i think somewhere in the insulation there should be support beams at least in theremy house was built within the last 6 yearsbut i think all i need to do is somehow find out how to get wood and flooring up threw a hole that's not very big any suggestions on that? any information for what i am going to have to do would be helpfulalso i need some type of Ladder to be able to get in there i think a fold down one will work well but thanks for helping

As an Aircraft Mechanic, most of the airplanes out there are made out of aluminium alloy (not the one your pop can uses)Though in the future more and more manufacturers are switching to composites (carbon fiber, fiber glass, kevlar, boron fibers, etc) because of the lighter weight and strengthSorry but I don't have any links for you regarding referencesIf you just search google you will find them.

Unless your house has more then a 12-2 pitch you will not have enough room to put much up thereYour money and time would be better spent investing in a storage buildingBut if you go ahead with your project you will find the rafters on 16 inch center you will only have a small area to work with because of the bracing, the bst way is call a proGood luck
