Ok well I'm really freaked out now so i could use some helpI went to the bathroom today and i pooped and when i wiped i saw bloodI looked online and they said it could be serious and i may have cancer and all this stuff but i'm only 18 i'm reasonably healthy and i'm wondering what it could possibly bewhat are the chances that i'm 18 and i have something life threatening?
There are many thingsYou need to be more specificAre/were you having cramps? pain? diarrhea? acidity? burning sensation when stool passed? what was amount of blood? all blood? some traces? was it fresh (reddish) or old (brownish)? And how was the sleep last night? felt acidity? heart burn? could not sleep? If any of the above is true then no cancer but stomach I would sayBut take it seriously and before doing anything else take some soluble fiber (OTC from Walmart or Walgreen) and drink plenty of water to soften the stool and let it wash your digestive system gently (no mil of magnesia or something to cause constipation)My feeling is you had a hard stool or pieces of hard stool, and then ate something which has driven stomach nuts and it wanted to pass it out asapDue to pressure, the hard pieces have ripped some internal walls but that's not serious unless you saw a lot of fresh bloodEDIT: You said you cleaned and saw bloodWere you having constipation?
