. I could not pick it up for 6 weeks and it sat idle, Just received it and the IMA battery level is at only 5 lines near the bottom of the gauge. I a still not able to register it for another week.have i damaged the IMA battery?. Also does the IMA battery charge while car is idling?. I tried that for an hour, with no change on the gauge. I did take a chance and drove it around the block once, and the top left gauge indicated it was charging, but no change on the IMA side(it was about 1/2 mile. Also note while sitting the weather averaged 27-35 degrees for almost the whole month.
hold the rpm at 3000 for 5 minutes and the battery gauge should show full charge, a 13 year old ima battery is most likely going to be bad, they usually last 6-8 years.
