Question:

I think I lock my knees when I practice ballet but I can't figure out if I rly do?

When I straighten my leg for like tendus for example. My leg looks straight and pretty but I'm afraid that I'm locking my knees which I hear is bad. I'm not sure if it is bad because my legs look like all the other ballerinas which seems good. And what is locked knees exactly. what does it feel like so I can tell if I am. A lot of questions I know but I'm serious about ballet so I'd definetly like to know if I'm doing it right. Btw if it matters at all I'm 14 and just started ballet lol I know OLD!lt;3 Ana

Answer:

Truly there is no harm in what you did. The only thing I can see happening here, is just taking the rubber band out. The worst that could happen is the band could get stuck on a roller, which would mean that you would have to break the rubber band don't think that will be a big deal. Other than that, no problem. :)
