Chemistry Experts Needed - Galvanic corrosion question about aluminum pot and copper coil in the pot.?

I use an aluminum pot to brew beer at homeI know a stainless steel pot is better, but right now the aluminum pot is all I haveOnce the beer is done boiling it has to be cooled very quicklyOne common method involves submerging a coil of copper tube into the pot and running water through the coil to remove the heatI know that copper and aluminum when in the presence of an electrolyte can cause galvanic corrosion to occur.If a stainless steel pot is used I do not see any issue, but since I am using an aluminum pot would I be worried about galvanic corrosion either damaging the pot or adding any extra quot;flavoringquot; to the beer in the form of metal being transferred from the pot to the coil? The coil is only in place for 10-15 minutes, I don't know if that is long enough to matter.Any thoughts??

I had the same concern about using a copper immersion chiller in my aluminum kettleI asked a couple of friends with chemistry backgrounds about it and they seemed to think that it wouldn't be any problem at all - mostly owing to exposure time and the relative surface areas of the two metals (their explanation made my head spin)
