This is what you want if you mess with LN2. I say this because I use it everyday in my job to keep EDX (energy dispersive X-ray) units cooled. While you're at it, be sure to get a face shield and some cryogenic gloves in case you spill a bit on you. You can get frostbite very quickly AND it ain't a good thing to get into your eyes!!! Please let me point out something to you regarding safety of LN2. If you think you can put this into a thermos and be safe, you are very wrong. If you cork this stuff up in a thermos bottle and there is no relief valve for it, or the top of the thermos freezes over and won't allow gas to escape, do you know what you have then? A BOMB!!!! Yes, it will explode and likely either hurt you or someone else very badly or even kill somone! Also, as others have mentioned, get this stuff in a closed space and you will asphyxiate as it will displace all of the oxygen in that closed volume!! If you are going to mess with LN2, PLEASE get the proper equipment to handle it and read up on safely handling it. The life you save, might be your own!!
