go to ur local hardware store they should have a kit with all the stuff u need.. than u can cut it to the size u need and replace it maybe 10 to 15$ but u will have lots left over to do more windows when ever u need to.
hi rob, windows defender was made for protection and security to your computer files it protects against viruses and spyware and according to consumer reports and pcworld magazines it is the top of the line in protection. but there is a few things that you need to be aware of about windows vista when you upgrade you must have along with vista install is roxio mydvd 9 and microsoft office works 9 and when you go to buy your virus protection stay away from norton or mcafee but avg is perfectlty safe the reason for that is they turn your windows defender off. but if i was considering upgrading from windows xp to windows vista i would recommend that you let a computer repairman do it for you and i would only install vista ultimate it has it's own media vista basic or vista home premium does not so that means that you will need to install windows xp then do a vista overshadow. good luck hope i was helpful to you
There is a tool with a roller on each end. One end is for putting a groove in the screen as you push it into the channel. The other is for the rubber spline that keeps the screen in the frame. The spline comes in different sizes. I think there is also a universal-multi size one on the market. There are different screens as well. Metal and nylon. Metal is stiffer and easier to damage if you run the roller off track. When you start the project leave extra overhang and trim carefully after all the spline is installed.
