Question:

I want to preform a show?

I have a comedy/acting troupe and we want to preform ALL OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARES PLAYS but we dont know what to start with?ComedyTragedyHistorySonnets

Answer:

sonnets are poems, not plays. I would actually just put all the plays in a hat and draw one out. Just don't do to of the same kind in a row.... you should have fun but don't be surprised if its more work than you think :)
There's a very funny play titled The Complete Works of Shakespeare: Abridged. It's about a group of actors who try to perform all of Shakespeare's plays and some of his sonnets in a condensed form for the audience to understand and appreciate. It sounds like it would be perfect for your comedy troupe!
Do them in choronolgical order (that is, the order in which scholars believe they were written). Or do it alphabetically! The sonnets aren't a play as such (although they've been adapted into plays). I wish the theater company I'm with (DEDICATED TO SHAKESPEARE!) would be bold enough to do all of Shakespeare's plays, but we tend to do the most popular ones over and over again.
