While designing and during construction also I'm required to adhere to certain provisions in standard code of practice.. During my career I found that it's not enough to adhere to certain code of practice and sometimes problem is due to adherence to code of practice. So I abandoned some of the stand practices which were not giving satisfactory results and adhered to mine and persisted with those which gave satisfactory result..
