Question:

i cured my Iron pan like an answer said and have a mess, help?

i was told to clean/strip old off 1st, i did then coat w/ oil then put in oven 300.i hav pans w/ gel like substance in them, and a house full of smoke every time i turn on oven.do i need to strip and start over the right way or are my pans ruined?

Answer:

3c2+2t c+t14 t14-c substitute 3c2+2(14-c) 3c2 +28-2c 5c30 c6 t14-6 8
There are six cranes and eight trucks.
3C 2T + 2 C + T 14 3C - 2T 2 1C +1T 14.Multiply by 2 3C-2T2 2C+2T28 ADD 5C30 C6 cranes C + T 14 6 + T 14 T 8 trucks
Start again and you'll be fineThe problem is that the oil pooled and then jelled from the heatTry using shortening instead of liquid oil(Crisco in a can works well) and smear around the entire inside of the cast iron panPlace a sheet of aluminum foil on the rack below the one you intend to put the pan onPreheat the oven to 300 degrees, and place the pan UPSIDE DOWN on the rackAny melted shortening will land on the aluminum foil making for easy clean up, and you won't get pools of jelled oil in the pan.
