I do know that if I plant it this year it won't grow until next year or the year after. I just need some advice on the best asparagus to grow in the midwest growing region and how to care for it. Can anyone give me some useful tips please.
no matter what kind you will not see eatable for a year or 2 if you oplant plants now you will get a bit next year if you plant seads if might be 2 or 3 years
Things to consider: Asparagus is a perennial, so plant it where it won't be disturbed. If you plant it this year, don't expect a crop for at least 2 years. Plant a bunch for a good crop each year.
