Question:

If a copper penny that has a mann of 3.1g and takes 0.35cm squared. What is the density of CU (copper)? b4 trw?

I really need this before october 22nd 2009!!plz help! asap

Answer:

wats the volutme of the penny. the squared is the area only. If that's a typo, them it would be 1.085 g/cm3.
Penny is not 100% Penny-weight/size is moot point unless you know what the weight of the other elements area and how much Also CM squard does not take into acount cubic size with copper being maliable, you could have something akin to a bowling ball, or a micron thick sheet the size of a basketball court that would have the same mass.
