If a fire alarm went off in your house right now, what would you do?
For my card box I got a gumball machine pad lock to lock it up. I also had my Godmother clear it out periodicly so it wasn't sitting full of cards.
Doubtful. Probably it's Roth - Schild. German for Red-Shield. Child in German is kind (plural kinder). Child has another origin. But you're not stupid at all. It's good thinking, even if flawed. I enjoy etymology a lot.
