Don't know if they are still available in your area, but I have had good luck with the dryer balls. that were sold a few years ago. I got mine at Bed, Bath Beyond, but sometimes places that sell Is Seen on TV products will have them. You need at least 4 in the dryer to have them work properly. I love mine and I have a cat. Be sure to clean your lint filter after each load.
