Question:

if i bought a used car and the dealer said they fixed a problem and didn't, what can i do about it?

I bought an 1999 dodge durango and on my first test drive the brakes were sticking and the radio face plate was missing and a cracked wind shield so i told them about the brakes and they said they would have a mechanic check it all out be for i bought it. Well i went back about 4 days later and they said that the brake problem was fixed and they had a glass repair shop setup to come to my home or work to repair the windshield and they gave me a stereo to put in it but the brake problem is still like it was and the stereo is not working either. Do they have to fix the problem with the brakes because they said they would be for i bought the vehicle, i had to pay $2200 down just to get it after being out of work for 6 mos.

Answer:

Without knowing what MODELS they are, or al least if they are inkjet / laser hard to help. If laser, open paper drawers and look for the small rubber wheel that feeds the paper in. Clean this with damp cloth to remove dust, allow to dry, try again. IF it stays at paperjem BEFORE you even try to print, then there is probably something stuck in one of the sensors, and the printer SHOULD give a jam code, if you have this, email me it via Yahoo and I can look it up, I have service codes for many HP machines. If it's an inkjet, same trick works on feed roller. If it's a constant error before you even try to print, again something in a sensor, but you probably get no indication of where, so have a good look in the paper path as best you can.
