If it's big enough and you hit it hard enough it might,but you'll be laying there on the bed laughing when the fire truck get's there.
I m a professional firefighter near Buffalo, NY. I am also looking to acquire a fire hydrant myself. Do not bother wasting your time or your local fire departments time by asking them for a hydrant. The local FD doesnt control the public water in you area. You local Water authority would be a place to start, however they may not be in the business of selling hydrants. They may have old hydrants that have been taken out of service or may be not 100 % functional. Also private sellers are a possibliity, I ve looked on
you should not smoke a joint ; for you will get hooked on it +you may do something that you may regret later . and i don't think the alarm will go on
