Question:

If I live in an apartment without grass, how can my puppy go potty?

When I travel I take my puppy with me( still didn't buy the puppy, but I will soon.) and I travel a lotIn there I live in an apartment, this apartment has no grassAnd whenever I want her to Potty outside I will use the elevator to go downstairs, how can she pee or poop?!?!?! I don't wanna use puppy pads, And do I have to wake up in the middle of the night and take her outside? (when I buy her she'll be 3 or 4 months.) tell me what to do?

Answer:

Probably because you're still eating a lot of carbsAnd just because it has lots of fiber or is organic doesn't mean it's low calorieYou need to actually count the calories you eat and then it will probably become apparent as to why you've gained.
First off, it works perfectly fine to have a dog in an apartment even if it is not on the ground floor (I have two of them)However, you WILL have to take the dog out to potty on a regular basis or the dog will start going inside, probably on the carpet as someone else mentionedWhen my youngest dog was a puppy i took him out every 2nd hour, including in the middle of the night if he could not hold itIt may only be me, but i would have done the same even if i lived in a house or an apartment on the ground floor with a gardenI simply don’t want my dogs to learn to pee in the gardenWe have a garden which belong to the house, but before we ever enter i make sure they have done their thing first so they won’t soil thereAfter all, kids may come and play there too and they should not have to sit in my dogs pee or popNow, you also say that you will be traveling a lotIn that case it is a bad idea to get a puppy as a puppy will require a lot of time and attentionI would recommend that you adopt a dog in that caseThere are still no guarantees that the dog is housebroken thoughMy older dog comes from the shelter and i had to housebreak her tooAnother thing you need to consider is what you will do with your dog when you are awayDo you have a good support network around you? Someone to properly care for the dog? If not, then i would hold off getting a dog for the time being
reduce your fiber intake
carbseat fruits and vegetables insteadu still get fiber but they dont have as many calories.
