Question:

If metal is a conductor of electricity and metal attracts lightening, then why are umbrellas made with metal?

Especially the pointy thing at the top..what's up with that?

Answer:

I find the lint rollers don't work very well on any kind of dog hair. I use an actual lint brush which is almost like velcro. When you brush it one way, it picks up the hair, and when you brush it the other way, the hair comes off. (That's how you clean them). They usually come with a handle which can be reversed. I use mine to get black, white and beige dog hair off a light grey carpet, and it works really well. Some of your puppy's hair may also be imbedded in the couch if it has been there for some time, and people leaning against it, but you may notice a difference if you try one of these brushes. They cost around $5.00 - $6.00. I also use mine to get the hair off our clothes, and the bedspreads. Good luck.
CPVC pipe is rated for domestic hot and cold water, and is typically much cheaper than copper. It is seen a lot in house trailers of a certain age, and in cheap residential construction. It is NOT rated for commercial use. It's single virtue is that it is cheap. It gets brittle with age, it cannot take excessive pressure, the fittings, especially valves, wear out quickly as well. And it has a large coefficient of expansion which must be accommodated as part of the installation. Writing for myself, I would not touch the stuff. A much better, if slightly more costly option is PEX. It has been around in Europe for many years, is extremely rugged, and very easy to use.
Nope, don't be too surprised if you're fired. It might sound totally unfair to you. Two wrongs don't make a right. Flinching is ok, protecting yourself, fine, but throwing something back at someone is not a typical reaction. If it happened to me, yeah, there is a slight chance I might have done what you did, and got fired. Be very glad you didn't injure anyone. Learn your lesson, and move on. Sorry to hear this happened to you.
