if you tamper with the ipod in anyway apple will be able to tell. you can't use water since there's water sensor detectors on it, or take it apart because its made to not come apart unless a technician does it, and putting it in the sun wont do anything since theres not enough heat and if you used enough heat to mess up the wiring it would probably wreck the body of the device so your probably out of luck.
Let me help and encourage you. If it had not been for the nipple shield I would not still be bf today. My story is a lot like yours . Keep trying daily to wean from the shield but not until anxiety comes relax. Your supply will not diminish if you follow with pumping after every session or every other session. Sometimes the shield doesn't allow the baby to drain the breast properly.Pump for 10 min after and you will have an abundant supply. I used the shield for 8 months and finally ONE day I just squirted the milk in her mouth and shoved my boob in it her mouth next and she has loved it ever since. Good Luck !! Damnn, maybe if it covered from water damage, throw it in your toilet? Or maybe try downloading something with a bunch of viruses onto it.
