If the US is a Christian nation, why did this paramedic get in trouble for giving a blanket to a homeless man?

my dad told me to stay away from them they can get too hot and burn u and also start a fire. my brother in law is a full time firefighter and he has seen many fires started by thoese harmless blankets. but if u do use them i wouldnt fall asleep with one. i would use one to like read a book or something but never to sleep it would be like leaveing a candle buring while gone or asleep. that is just crazy. i have seen candles do some crazy things. just be ever careful and for the saving on the heat bill. get a fannel sheets then a fuzzy blanket i cant remember the right name they are just soft and fuzzy and then get a quilt. the quilt still lets your body breath. but keeps u oh so warm. my husband got me a quilt and every since he wont sleep with another thing else. has to be a quilt. and the bigger the better we have a king size one on a queen it gives us eack our own so we dont fit over it. and it feel good on yeah not too heavy or light. well i hoped i help also u could just put a light blanket over a quilt that too works and if in the middle of the night u get hot it is easier to take off just push it down that is what i do. well good luck on saving money.
I have a trackball and won't use anything else (also have a optical that I hate). I don't know where you could get the rubber pads or rollers, but I clean mine with rubbing alcohol, the same way I clean the ball. It seems to keep them cleaner longer. I could not find any place that offered parts for the mouse. Sorry, I don't think I answered your question.
