Where does it say Muzzle Loaders in the Constitution?
No. I don't see any mention of muzzle loaders in my copy of the Constitution of the United States.
Why? The constitution says nothing about banning all guns except muzzle loaders. It makes no mention at all in regards to handguns/semiautomatics, so why are you adding to it?
The founding fathers didn't ban average citizens from owning canon's either. I think your looking at this backwards, a strick constitutionalist would say that shall not be infringed means that civilians have the right to own the latest and greatest military technology of the time. A strick constitutionalist would say that its OK to own RPG's, F-22's, SAMS, ICBM's, etc.
Does constitution say anywhere specifically about muzzle loaders? No. So here is your answer. I know you pointing to the fact that the constitution was written at the time when only muzzle loaders existed. But the thing is, some things like technology does not stay the same in time (weapon is just a tool that made and modernized by technology), but some values people have, do... And again, would you rather let burglar who get to your place rape and/or kill your or your loved one or would you rather protect them? Would you rather trust the government in whatever they decide to do with you and your country or have a chance to stand against tyranny and dictatorship? That what second amendment is about. As for mass shooting, this is a terrorism and government out to fight it and make that illegal. Why they still did not take action on that, is the correct question. And take guns from population hands is not correct answer on that. Why you can't go with gun to the governor office or to the school where his children studying, but still can do that at the school where mere people children studying? And why that would be outrageous if we would have same security for all school not only for governor office and school where governors children studying?
